Who we are
The Gateway Seminary Houston Advanced Center is located in Houston, Texas. We provide high-quality theological education to equip both men and women to proclaim the gospel to the nations. We also offer theological training to local pastors serving in mission fields through practical and effective methods. Recognized as one of the most culturally diverse seminaries in the world, Gateway Seminary expresses this diversity through the Houston Advanced Center, which empowers and challenges students to develop effective ministry leadership for the 21st century.

Objectives
1.
Demonstrate courageous growth in obedience to and love for Jesus and His ways.

Demonstrate a working knowledge of Scripture and its faithful interpretation and application.

Education Structure
ADVANCE is built on a series of 12-hour ministry-specific certificates that are made up of four 3-hour courses that provide training in specific areas of ministry.
24-hour Diploma is a combination of two certificates, consisting of eight 3-hour courses.
48-hour leadership diploma is a combination of four certificates: a ministry-specific certificate, Introduction to Christian Studies Certificate, Intermediate Christian Studies Certificate, and Leadership in Ministry Certificate. It consists of 16 3-hour courses.
